Hollie Morrison - Senior Speech Pathologist
Bachelor of Speech Pathology (honours)
Hollie has experience working with people across the lifespan and has a keen interested in supporting adults to achieve their goals. Hollie is passionate about supporting people from all walks of life to have a functional means to communicate their messages, however that may look. This can include supporting individuals' expressive communication, comprehension of what is being communicated to them, speech intelligibility, interpretation and use of social communication skills, written language, and/or Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems. Hollie is also passionate about ensuring participates are able to enjoy eating and drinking safely. Hollie has worked with adults who present with a variety of conditions to assess swallowing skills and create mealtime management plans.
Hollie enjoys supporting individuals with neurological conditions to become as independent as possible in communication and swallowing. Hollie has completed a variety of PD courses include Sounds-Write, neuro-diverse affirming practice, youth mental health, and social participation after stroke.
In her spare time, Hollie likes to spend time with her dog at the beach or exploring the water ways.
Shona Duff
Shona is Pilbara Therapy Services’ dedicated speech pathologist. She is passionate about increasing the speech pathology services to the region and comes to us with specific experience with the Autism Association. Shona is passionate and driven to get the best outcomes for her clients. Shona loves camping, surfing and exploring the islands.
Nicolette Ferrari
Nikki has been living and working as a speech pathologist in Karratha since 2021.
She had the opportunity to spend some time here as part of her Uni placements and loved exploring the Pilbara and getting to know the community, she loved it so much that she returned as soon as she could.
Niki worked in the NDIS space for the past few years; first as a support worker and then as a speech pathologist.
Her areas of interest includes early language, school-age language and literacy, articulation and pragmatic/social skills.
Nikki enjoys working in the community and with families to increase and explore communication that is meaningful and promotes choice and control, relationship development and community access.
Outside of work she loves being outdoors and exploring, spending most of her evenings at the pool getting involved in water sports.

Student Speech Pathologist
4th-year physiotherapy student
We believe strongly in building up the rural health workforce. In line with this goal, we facilitate an ongoing rotation of students from Notre Dame and Curtin University. These students are nearly ready to be employed and are in their final year of University. Our students have been given training in the most recent evidence-based practice and will check in with their supervisor to ensure their implementation is up to standard.
