David Rigby

Owner & Principle Physiotherapist

David Rigby completed an undergraduate degree in Exercise Sports Science and then progressed to complete a Masters of Physiotherapy. David has worked in a variety of settings including, vocational rehabilitation, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Clinical Pilates, Cardio Physiotherapy, Neurological Physiotherapy and much more. David has worked in Perth, throughout the South West of Australia and has been the Owner/Operator for Pilbara Physiotherapy (formally known as Rigby's Physio) since March 2014. David has big dreams for Pilbara Physiotherapy including a comprehensive rehabilitation service, education sessions for the community and increased services to the rest of the Pilbara.

Peter Harvey

Peter graduated from Notre Dame University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2006. Since graduating, Peter has worked across both the private and public sectors, spending his last two years at Tom Price Hospital.  Peter has gained experience in many different areas of Physiotherapy including musculoskeletal, orthopaedics and neurological/geriatric rehabilitation.

Peter uses a combination of hands on therapy, dry needling and exercise based rehabilitation to help patients achieve their goals and minimise recovery times post injury and surgery. 

Outside of the clinic, Peter enjoys keeping fit and spending time exploring the Pilbara with his family. 


Anita Pieraccini

Bachelor in Physiotherapy
Full time: Wickham and Karratha Clinics

Anita graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2014. Anita has moved to Karratha in early 2017 and has come on board as our new full time Physiotherapist. 
Anita has experience in Occupational Health, Musculoskeletal assessment, Aged care physiotherapy inclusive of assessments, pain management, fall prevention programs, manual handling education sessions and much more. She has always had a passion for physiotherapy and works closely with her clients to ensure they are achieving their goals and improving their physical function to the best of their ability. Anita has particular interest in in chronic pain and is passionate about efficient recovery from musculoskeletal injuries and clinical Pilates. Outside the clinic, Anita loves getting creative in the kitchen, is a keen traveller and enjoys camping, hiking and exploring the Pilbara.


Teigan Lawrence

Bachelor in Physiotherapy
Full Time: Karratha and Wickham

Teigan is a graduate from Curtin University. She’s gained experience in the young adult rehabilitation unit, burns unit, musculoskeletal out patients, as well as acute trauma and multi diagnosis rehabilitation sector. She has been a sports trainer with a Perth based amateur football teams assessing and treating sports injuries and providing injury management guidance. She’s done plenty of varied volunteer work in recent years with Geraldton badminton association, the Australian men’s hockey team and volunteer work in Cambodia.

She enjoys working closely with people to help them achieve their goals and get them back to what they love as safely and quickly as possible. Outside of work Teigan loves the outdoors especially anything to do with the ocean.

Sarah Martin

Sarah has recently moved here from Perth, and has had many years of experience in a wide range of areas. She has worked across all aspects of a large hospital environment, from highly acute settings through to rehabilitation. She has a holistic approach in her treatment and is passionate about people doing well in life. Chronic disease, falls prevention, eliminating dizziness and improving quality of life are particular areas of passion.

Sarah is married and has two children, and assists her husband in pastoring a church in town. She has plenty of "blonde"moments, loves coffee and chocolate or baked goods of any description, and thinks Pilbara life is pretty fantastic!


Abbie Weller

Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy
Remedial Massage Therapist
Full Time: Karratha and Wickham

Abbie completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage at South Metropolitan Tafe, with a variety of skills to offer and has also undergone extra training in Myofascial Cupping Techniques. She aims to help you accomplish the best health and well-being by touch to relieve pain, heal injuries, reduce stress and increase relaxation.

She is a knowledgeable and determined person, with so much passion for the industry. She loves camping, being out on the ocean, by the beach and exploring all the wonders that Australia has to offer!


Sharni Klau

Book Keeping and Administration Support
Full Time: Rehab Room

Sharni has joined the Pilbara physio family and will be the friendly voice on the other end of the phone and emails for all enquiries. Sharni’s goals are to focus on customer service and professionalism to bring you a first class service. Sharni has lived in Karratha for 12 years and loves the beach.

Mackenzie is a year 12 student with a passion for Physiotherapy. Mackenzie’s goal is to study physiotherapy when she finishes school. She will be supporting Sharni with after hours reception support.
